To ensure that philological practices are researched from a global perspective, the Cluster of Excellence collaborates with many national and international partners.

Within the Cluster 7 of the LMUs faculties are working together.

Participating Disciplines

In addition to the well-known philological disciplines, areas such as musicology and legal history are also part of the Cluster of Excellence.

International Cooperation

The Cluster of Excellence cooperates with numerous renowned institutions worldwide, including Harvard University, The British Library, Pontifical Biblical Institute, Ben Zvi Institute, University of Tokyo, and many more.
